Misterton is a village and civil parish in the Bassetlaw district of Nottinghamshire, England.

It is one of the 5 largest villages in the Bassetlaw  district.

Misterton, a mixed, developing community of approximately 2,200 people, is located in north-east Nottinghamshire, with the nearest large town being Doncaster, some 12 miles to the north-west.  The village has a special water environment, being bordered by two rivers - the Idle and the Trent, with the historic Chesterfield Canal running through the village.
